As the Moon orbits Earth, its distance from our planet varies. During the 2017 total solar eclipse, the Moon was a little bit farther away from Earth than it will be during the upcoming total solar eclipse, causing the path of that eclipse to be a little skinnier. In 2017, the path ranged from about 62 to 71 miles wide. During the April eclipse, the path over North America will range between 108 and 122 miles wide – meaning at any given moment, this eclipse covers more ground.

The Gage Thomas Band is an acoustic duo who believes in the experience of music. We get our inspiration from the live performances of the Grateful Dead Jerry Garcia Band, Bob Marley, Jimmy Buffett, blues artists, and others who wrote and played the music they lived. Even though we often play the same songs from gig to gig, you will never hear the same version twice. We let the energy of the moment take us wherever it wants! Christian Michaels, Nashville recording artist. Music rooted in the rock and roll side of blues blossomed into a 20+ year rock music career. From those experiences he was welcomed into the edgy side of country music and has crafted a style referred to as country fried rock & roll. Rachel Litteral is a singer-songwriter-guitarist that has performed at various local venues over the last decade. She can be heard frequently at The Trolley Stop, The Yellow Cab and Brandeberry Winery. She was also one of the acts at the Dayton Blues Fest in 2018. 

Her style has been described as smokey, sultry and bluesy that grabs the listeners ear and heart. She is currently working on her first studio album of all original songs with a planned release around Spring 2023.
